Kid’s Cooking Camp 2013 Wrap-up

On August 15, we wrapped up another successful Kid’s Cooking Camp.  You can find photos of the campers and their instructors on CCK’s Facebook page.

Here are comments we got from some of the older campers:

Caleb said he likes to cook (especially experimenting with spices).  He was happy to get some new recipes.

Natalie liked getting more recipes and appreciated the safe cooking instruction. She said she’ll probably experiment more with cooking at home.

Ben said the camp was fun.  He learned how to make tasty dishes – healthy can be tasty, too.

Rachel had fun learning more cooking methods.  She said she’s most likely to make smoothies at home.

Kid’s Cooking Camp instructors Judy Radant and Callie Gavorek selected the recipes for this summer’s camp.  The list below can give you an idea of what foods were made each day. In addition, the campers made smoothies every day.
