Join CCK instructors and helpers on the road to the Good Eats Café as our summer cooking camp returns for the 5th year! Held Monday thru Friday, July 18-22, 2016, at Beach Middle School Food Lab.
Kids in grades 1-6 can experience a week of cooking and eating tasty, healthy food. Along the road you will make stops at the Produce Yard, Protein Junction, The Healthy Hotel, The Spice Shop and the Bakery. A different stop each day will focus on a different food group or cooking technique. As always in this fun camp, students will learn and practice basic kitchen skills and food safety guidelines during the 3-hour program.
Attendees can register for all week, or for individual days. Campers who complete all 5 days will earn a Junior Chef award.
Grades 1-3 Camp time is 9:00 am to 12:00 noon
Grades 4-6 Camp time is 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm
