Our food system niche: Providing classroom and real-world education to consumers and food-business entrepreneurs, helping entrepreneurs who use locally grown and healthy ingredients connect with commercially licensed kitchens and business counseling, and renting kitchen time to community groups and individuals who are committed to promoting healthy eating

We envision communities where enthusiasm for local food helps people, the environment and the economy thrive.

Summer Kids Cooking Camp and Chef’s Club, grades 1-9: Our summer kids programs return, this year with a focus on baking. Register now.

Servsafe Food Manager Certification Class: August 28, 9 – 5 pm at 128 Park St. This is an eight hour self-­‐study review class that helps you fulfill the Michigan Food Law requirement to have a manager certified in food safety in each food service establishment. Register now.

Board meetings on second Mondays, 6-8 pm, 128 Park St.  Volunteers welcome to attend.
