Educate, inform and support members of our regional community to create a healthy, local and sustainable food culture.
Our food system niche: CCK partners with organizations in our community to provide classes for the general public, including youth programs, on nutritious cooking, using fresh, local ingredients. We provide classroom and real-world education to consumers and food-business entrepreneurs to encourage use of locally grown and healthy ingredients.
We envision communities where enthusiasm for local food helps people, the environment and the economy thrive.

REGISTRATION NOW CLOSED for the 2018 Summer Kids Cooking Camp and Chef’s Club.
Summer Chef’s Club (August 8th – 10th) is a cooking program for older youth to experience in-depth cooking techniques and knowledge, including a restaurant or farm field trip. This summer’s theme will be Italian cuisine.
Teacher Aid volunteers for all dates are also needed. Do you like working with younger children? Enjoy cooking and have basic kitchen knowledge? Join Chelsea Community Kitchen this summer during our kids cooking programs as a volunteer camp teacher aid. You can work half-days (8-12:30 or 12:30-4/4:30) or the full day; one day or all. Anyone entering 9th grade and up is eligible to participate as a volunteer. Click here to sign up to Volunteer.
Healthy on the Budget – Food Coaching:
Board meetings held every other month on the second Monday, 6-8 pm, 128 Park St. Next meeting is May 14th. Volunteers welcome to attend.
